Manny Pacquiao Vs Juan Manuel Marquez 3 Is Not A Guarantee

For several days we learned that Top Rank put a $5 million offer on the table for Juan Manuel Marquez fight against Manny Pacquiao for the third time. Knowing that Mark has talked a while about how badly he wants the fight, it seemed clear that the trilogy would go down in September. But yesterday, Bob Arum told the press that Mark was not satisfied with the offer and that they submit a revised offer on Monday.

So who should be next if Pacquiao Marquez? Arum said that the choices would be the next Timothy Bradley, or Zab Judah, and the junior welterweights. More than anything, Pacquiao is a battle that will bring the hype. Although it is not their fault, the last three opponents have just not been able to force Manny compelling account of the battle. Manny curse is the curse of the dominant, and it needs the right opponent to make the fight needs.

I do not know that they could be included in two different options. Pacquiao would be one doing the heavy labor for the public's attention, no matter who fights, but a solid player support is the difference between 700,000 and 1.2 million PPV buys. And when the fight Mosley, it is possible that there is a part of the public who do not rush to drop another $ 50, unless there is an overriding interest, such as trash talk of Judah, or the story with Manny Marquez .

Although Judah (41-6, 28 KO) slipped from five consecutive victories, is still only in the bottom of the top ten for 140 pounds. What he proposes is a boy name recognition, whose history shows that he would be more than willing to be outspoken and to play the "evil" and to build a great battle.

Bradley (27-0, 11 KOs) is unbeaten in his career and the # 1 ranked fighter at 140. But it's also a guy who is a virtual unknown to the general public. His fight with Devon Alexander, a relevant and legitimate struggle drew a crowd of Pontiac, Michigan, which can not be described as shameful. To be fair, start a fight at the Silverdome was a stupid decision to start, but still not exactly a big draw elsewhere.
